There are many majestic waterfalls in this park. But those are only so during times of plenty. During my stay, at the beginning of autumn, water was rising ever so slowly in the rivers and streams, but not enough to make amazing waterfall vistas.
That said, there are many streams completely unknown to most tourists as they are rarely photographed, and are so modest and mellow that they are simply regarded as tiny bodies of water with slippery rocks. Definitely left out on a tight holiday schedule. This stream runs alongside the scenic Megalong Valley road, and is thus easily accessible.
As you can see it has barely any water flowing, but during the high season the water level is much higher and very fast flowing. Tree trunks stuck in odd places high on either side tell a story of raging torrents.
