I had only 3 nights here in the Blue Mountains, and a limit to how much I could explore during that time. Thus I selected spots close to my hotel, and revisited these spots at different times of day.
This very spot was just a few hundred meters from the hotel, and I went down here several times. It was just before Easter, but surprisingly I was alone most of the time and could enjoy the many bird species either passing by or roosting very near my position.
It’s amazing to sit on the edge of a high cliff and hear the sound of a waterfall and a river, mixed with the wind rustling the foliage and the birds communicating. Combined with the ever softer light I had a wonderful time here.
