Three Sisters, Blue Mountains National Park

My first morning in this amazing national park was that of utter gloom as the clouds were hanging all the way to the ground – as fog. Weather changes quickly up here, so I was not deterred and just as I arrived at the lookout point I was greeted with lots of loud Sulphur-crested cockatoos strolling around like pigeons and a glimpse of one of the sisters.

Then they were gone again. The clouds were playing with visibility for quite a while, and as you can see in this picture the clouds are dense behind the sisters. They stayed so for a long time, making it hard for the sun to poke through, thus creating interesting light.
