Himalayan gray langur (Semnopithecus schistaceus) is commonly seen in Corbett National Park. Common does not mean to be ignored as there are many situations that are special and memorable, like this one.
This male was crossing close to us in confidence and sat down by a tree very nearby to assert its position as leader as well as looking for any opportunities.
Many find its resemblance to elderly, bearded human males striking!
