Uanselig frukt som spres med vannet først og fremst, men fugler er også innvolvert - jeg vet dog ikke hvilke arter som finner dette fristende....

Nydammen nord for Gjersjøen har enkelte steder en ugjenomtrengelig hinne av tjønnaksblader. Spesielt på vestsiden der landskapet er brattest.

One of the most common plant species on Roraima. It resembles pineapple, and like pineapple it dies after blooming and setting fruit.
