The southwestern coast of Socotra has steep cliffs more than 400 meters high and is an incredible landscape shift from the landscape inland. The access to the sea seems impossible from where I stand, but the families here are living off the sea (you can see their boats on the beach) as well as the goats. Every day half of the men hike down these very dangerous cliffs, where loose rocks can make you slip at any time. Yet they know these cliffs inside out, and have not had any fatalities.
Elevation: 263 meters.
