The boat trip from Qalansiyah village to Shuab beach is incredibly scenic, with towering cliffs and huge boulders in the sea. These boulders were once part of the cliffs, but over time the monsoon rains have weakened the connection to the cliff enough for gravitation to win. It must have been an amazing spectacle to behold from a safe distance. This process is never-ending as gravity and erosion are eternal forces. During the dry months there is no danger, but come cyclone season and more blocks will come tumbling down. Most small and medium size, but once every now and then a huge boulder will come tumbling down.
Once in the sea these boulders are very popular with the sea birds, as they prefer them to the mainland.
