This species thrives on the flats close to the ocean, and are very small and inconspicuous. In fact I had to use my macro to see the flowers as the petals are long gone!
Lots of goats roam the areas around the Detwah lagoon of west Socotra where these are photographed, and they trample the ground and the small plants, but these are hardy and are not really as fragile as they might seem.
