The previous day I found a bladderwort (Utricularia reniformis) high up on a ledge. An unnecessary climb, as there is a veritable garden here – you just have to walk a little further.
On one stretch of the road – past the dam – there is a very dense population of this species! I’ve never seen so many utricularias in one area.
Altitude: 2460 metres.
Native range is southeastern Brazil.
