Socotran Hullwort (Coleus socotranus)

In some areas the Socotran Hullwort (Coleus socotranus) is found as sporadic individuals, while in other locations they are quite numerous, as is the case here in the limestone holes and cracks of the northeastern plateau.

I have yet to find any individuals with flowers, and suspect it may bloom in the drier months. The leaves have an amazingly aromatic scent when you carefully rub your fingers on any of the fleshy leaves.

Elevation: 641 meters.

Endemic.
