Here I’m standing on the very eastern tip of Socotra with my back towards India!
I spent the better of a day here, and saw no other humans – just me and nature.
What an amazing place to see the sunrise…..
A few days ago I was standing on the cliffs right above the boat wondering how to get to this beautiful beach.
I had to go a long way around, as the road down the cliffs was washed away by torrential rain a couple of years ago. The view was perhaps even more stunning though, but that is Socotra in a nutshell – beauty is everywhere and you never tire of it! In fact this island will put a spell on you and draw you back!
I am definitely spellbound and want to go back as soon as I can.
