Little light is reflected, only the red and white is prominent, and only when in certain angles you’ll see that it’s blue and not really black.
I found it in the dark undergrowth alongside the Napo river, close to the Napo Wildlife Center welcome center.
A positive identification is only possible with a view of the underwing (vetral). Unfortunately I was unable to get such a shot during the short time here.
