Roraima Sundew (Drosera roraimae) is unique to the Roraima tepui and neighboring tepuis, and is widespread and common here.
It resembles the ones growing in European bogs, but has evolved independently. Again nature comes up with the same solution to the same problem despite insurmountable divides. Roraima has little to no nutrients as there is hardly any soil, and the little nutrients that do exist is steadily washed away by the constant rain showers. The only way to get important nutrients like phosforus and nitrogen is to catch it!
Native range is Roraima and neighboring tepuis.
