Leucas spiculifolia is a species I only encountered in a limited area, where it was abundant.
It specializes in growing in cracks of vertical walls on boulders and cliffs. The leaves are spiny and unpleasant to the touch unless you’re careful.
The lower individual was carrying fruits as well as two white flowers. The one above it had a single flower, but I did not see any fruits.
It is endemic to Socotra.
