Nightjars are naturally hard to see as they’re nocturnal, but you definitely hear them and if you use their sound you can often locate them with a flashlight.
As Cristalilno Jungle Lodge has many buildings spread out, the many species of nightjars have excellent locations too roost during daytime, so take a close look when you walk by, as you will most likely see at least one of the species, as I did here.
