What a stunning place to wake up! Just outside my tent this is what I saw – the great wall of the neighbouring Kukenan tepui.
Every minute the light, shadows and clouds changed – no human sounds – not even the sound of a plane. Silence….
Watching the sun rising and the shadows shrinking.
This is the highest point of Roraima – what looks like a car from the savanna.
