Yellow-throated toucan (Ramphastos ambiguus)
One of the 6 incredibly beautiful toucan species in Costa Rica, and one that happily eats human offerings like fruits. They have a diverse menu, ranging from insects, reptiles, amphibians, eggs to all kinds of fruit species. Being fruit eaters, they are important seed dispersers, and as such one of many species upholding the diversity of plant species.
