Gaur (Bos gaurus) is a magnificent giant that only fears humans and tigers. It is the largest of all wild cattle and is also called Indian bison by many.
Like so many other species this one is also vulnerable due to humans, so seeing herds in their natural state and behavior is such a great experience.
Especially when you see several calves – the best sign of a healthy herd.
