In this panorama you can see a clearing, which is an old structure of unknown origin. For generations this structure has been used by Socotris, and I too have camped there and had my meals by the wall. You can see the smoke from the campfire.
What’s unusual is that the tiny house (on the left of this circle) has a roof that is still intact! There are structures like this in many places up here, and one not far from this one, but the forest has completely taken over, and the Socotris have had no interest in maintaning it, as they have with the one seen here.
