On the way from Porto Jofre, on the Transpantaneira, to SouthWild Pantanal I stopped several times to take a closer look at the flora and fauna. This is the first time I have seen scarlet-headed blackbird (Amblyramphus holosericeus), and I was in luck as the seemingly lone male that caught my attention was in fact a family. Here one of the fledgelings is begging for food.
