Bauhinia glabra has a very unique growth, which is sufficient to identify the species. Unfortunately I found none with foliage – it also has a very distinct shape, hoof-like leaves.
Bauhinia glabra is a synonym of Schnella glabra.
Native range is Mexico to tropical South America.
