Saffron Toucanet (Pteroglossus bailloni)

This group had a very brief stop on the moss and lichen clad Secropia trunk.

A few minutes later I realize this is part of a mating competition.

Saffron toucanet (Pteroglossus bailloni) is near threatened, as its habitat, the fragmented remains of the Atlantic forest, is under constant pressure.

Altitude: 1021 metres.
