On the boat journey to Angel Falls, there was only one section where we had to disembark and walk for about 20 minutes on the open savanna. This flower was located along this path.

    Unfortunately there were no obvious leaves – just the long and non-winding stem, which can also be seen in the photos. The stem was also tough.
